Introduction

The build customer validation units activity follows the Engineering Sign Off gateway.
As a result of this activity all the customer validation units will be assembled by the manufacturing tools and facilities. Customer validation units are to be deemed saleable products and if suitable they may be sold latter as used goods. To achieve this, confirmation must be given that all the supplier and partners have completed their product quality activities. All must agree that the parts or assemblies supplied have achieved this requirement.
